Sharper Image Dulled Down in Court
Sharper Images has received a sharp lawsuit from Washington DC personal injury lawyers and attorneys from a few other states involving a fraudulent product. According to the lawsuit, which is seeking $900 million in consumer damages, the Sharper Image Ionic Breeze air purifier, which was sold since 1999, not only did not work, but in some cases caused health problems.
Sharper Image is contesting the amount of damages saying that if forced to pay, they will be out of business. The U. S. District Judge will have to weigh the financial health of Sharper Image against the monetary claims of various groups.
