  • Delaware Wrongful Termination

    Kirk A. Pope Jr., a former Sussex County, Delaware deputy sheriff is suing the county claiming for what he claims is a politically motivated firing. Pope and his Delaware personal injury lawyers are seeking $1 million in damages from the county for wrongful termination.

    Pope, a Republican had earlier made an unsuccessful bid for the Delaware House. Reportedly, after the Democratic won election the sheriff announced his intention to clear out employees. Pope alleges he was blackballed because of political differences.
